6 Processes Your Business Needs

A good business process is essential for the growth and maintenance of your business. Processes keep your business organized, keep a record of how your business works, prevent errors, and streamline productivity- among other things.

However, there are a ton of different processes to choose from, so how do you know which ones are right for your business?

You keep reading!

Before I implemented processes, I felt frustrated within my business. I was tired of wasting time trying to remember how something worked, tired of keeping my clients and teams organized on my own, and tired of the endless loop of lead generation.

If you also feel this way, then you need to set a firm foundation by implementing these six processes into your business today.

Client Onboarding

Client onboarding is the first interaction your client has with your business, so you want it to be as smooth and painless as possible. It will set the tone for all future interactions, build trust between yourself and the client, and make sure everyone’s on the same page.

That’s why you should make it a process.

A client onboarding process will make the experience smoother, keep all information organized, and ensure that every client gets treated equally – while still making them feel special.

Client Offboarding

Similarly, your client offboarding is the last interaction clients have with your business. You want them to remember you and your work, so making it a process is the easiest way to ask questions, gather feedback, and remind them that you’re there if they need you.

A good offboarding process can also help remind you to tie off any loose ends your client may have, leaving them satisfied with the work.

Lead Generation

If you don’t have clients, you don’t have a business, so your lead generation should be a top priority. However, there are hundreds of ways to draw in clients, and you don’t want to waste time sorting through them all to find what fits.

By making a lead generation process, you can narrow down the options, keep track of what works, schedule your engagement, and connect it to your follow-up process for a seamless transition.

Then, you’ll be able to pull in as many clients as you want and keep your business growing.

Follow-Up

The follow-up process will help you pursue your dream clients and show them how interested you are in working with them, what you’re offering, and how it can solve their problems.

And if they accept your follow-up offer, you can send them directly to your onboarding process. That way, they don’t have time to reconsider.

Are you starting to see how all of these processes work together? 😉

Team Onboarding

Now that you have a steady flow of clients you might want to think about bringing in some help.

Like your client onboarding, your team onboarding is the first interaction your team members will have with your business. By making it a process, you give them all of the information that they need to start with the business, expectations for the role, getting admin items out of the way, and making your business appear organized and seamless – which by using processes is exactly what it will be.

Like the client onboarding, the team onboarding process will be generally the same for everyone with a few position-related tweaks but you want to make sure that you are covering all of the basis for all team members so that they can work together effortlessly.

Team Offboarding

Finally, we have the team offboarding. Team members come and go, and an offboarding process is the perfect way to make sure you end things on a good note.

When a team member leaves, you can use the offboarding process to gather feedback, collect any business-related items they may have (documents, passwords, etc.), and ask whatever questions you need to make sure everyone is on the same page about the situation. Then, your process can organize and store that information for future use.

Processes are the foundation of every thriving business, but finding the right ones can be a challenge. That’s why I’ve taken the initiative and created these done-for-you templates.

They cover all six of these processes, and you can easily modify them to suit your business needs. It’s the perfect way to create a process without slogging through the technical bits, and it’s available for a one-time payment of $27! By implementing these six processes into your business, you can attract new clients, grow your team, and expand your business like never before. The best part about these processes is that you can fully automate them, so you spend less time wading through clients and leads and more time focusing on the part of the business you enjoy most.

And that sounds like a win-win to me.
